Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) is the set of people, processes and technology focused on managing mobile devices, wireless networks, and other mobile computing services in a business context.

With new devices appearing in the Smartphone and Tablet market space, the need to get them connected to the intranet resources has become increasingly significant and supporting them is becoming complex due to them being easily lost or stolen, data on those devices is becoming vulnerable.

Providing mobility and managing them is also creating an insane environment for IT managers and their IT staff. Many mobility management companies such as Blackberry, Sophos, Symantec, SAP, Soti, Good Technology, IBM, Citrix, AirWatch, MobileIron are trying to make the Enterprise Mobility management a lot less insane.

Employees and various stake holders of a company wish to have maximum choice and convenience while management favors maximum security and efficiency.

When we considerthe suppliers, contractors, field workers etc., mobility management becomes more complex. Our Experts help you in mobility planning, application development, mobility deployment, mobile security, mobility management, mobile workforce support and monitoring and analytics.

The mobile phone market particularly smart phone market has experienced massive growth.  The annual sale of mobile phones has crossed 1.5 billion units sold globally in 2016, an increase of 30% from 2015.

95% of employees use at least one personal device for work. In turn, companies have adopted mobile device-management solutions for security and control, largely to protect company information and applications. Many companies have systems to monitor or allow employee mobile phones, tablets to access applications such as e-mail, calendar and contacts.

Inspite of widespread use of mobile devices in the workplace, fewer than 25% of companies have built a mobile app for business flexibility. Despite the high demand from employees to access corporate systems from mobile phones, enterprises are woefully unable to deliver the “consumer-like” user experiences their employees expect.

Global enterprises use packaged and custom-built applications to support their businesses. This includes packaged on-premises applications such as SAP and Oracle; packaged cloud-based applications such as Salesforce and Workday; and custom-built apps using Web, .NET, Java etc.

In one study, only 5% of corporates have extended company apps to mobile users.  On an average, it takes corporates 8 months and US$250,000 to develop one mobile app of moderate complexity on IOS and Android platforms.

Corporates will need to develop and support up to 2,000 mobile apps within five years, as the mobilization of a given back-end system will likely yield multiple apps to support various subsets of workflows.

Only 33% of companies have a formal strategy for enterprise mobility.  Another 67% of CIOs have no specific budget for such projects, 53% have infrastructure built for Web (not mobile), and 50% do not have the right in-house resources to develop mobile apps. Clearly, the time, complexity and cost of current approaches have kept enterprise mobility an unfulfilled promise.

Mr International Enterprise mobility team has many years of experience in supporting corporates to leverage the advantages of mobile devises to deliver true mobility solutions scalable across both iOS and Android platforms.
